Takedown 03:17

about

After many unproductive years, overthinking underachievers The Deposed announce the release of their first single: "Something Going Wrong" b/w "Takedown".

Paul Downes was almost signed to a major label in 1984 with his band The Precious Few. Paul Kelly was a founding member of Dunnville, Ontario’s first punk band, Problem Children, but left in a huff. Such early promise led to pretty much nothing. UNTIL NOW!!!!!

Instruments were recorded and programmed in Paul K’s home office. Vocals and guitar feedback were recorded live from floor in the Small rehearsal room at Houndstooth in Toronto.

released March 13, 2023

All songs by Kelly/Downes

Shout out to everyone at Houndstooth.
